Where is the in-person event?
The in-person event is at Castaway Portland, 1900 NW 18th Ave, Portland, OR 97209.

What time is the event?
Doors open for the in-person event at 6:00PM (PT). The virtual broadcast begins at 7:00PM (PT).

What will the virtual event be like?
Our virtual broadcast will be a condensed version of our inspirational in-person program but will not include the live auction components. Tune in to watch virtually on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 7:00PM (PT) by clicking here. We’ll enjoy stories from our community and celebrate the dedicated staff and amazing volunteers in an awards presentation. During the program, you’ll have several opportunities to show your support for Bridges. Invite as many people as you’d like to watch the virtual broadcast—it’s free!

How do I participate in the virtual event?
Go to avstream.me/bridges before the event goes live on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 7:00PM (PT). If you need tech support during the event, please call 503-564-3044 on April 15 between 6:30–8:00PM (PT).

What will the in-person event be like?
Join us on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 6:00PM (PT) at Castaway Portland for a festive social hour with music, drinks, food, and a chance to connect with the Bridges family. For our program, we’ll share great stories from our community and celebrate the incredible work our staff does every day to support our students. We’ll also honor our fantastic parent volunteers with the Volunteer of the Year and Hard Hat awards. After our program, we’ll bid on some amazing auction packages and enjoy more time to connect.

How can I purchase an auction item or donate to Bridges Middle School at the in-person event?
When you arrive to Castaway, you’ll be asked for your credit card during registration to start a tab. You’ll then be given a bid paddle to make any donations or purchases. Your credit card on file will be charged at the end of the night to include your purchases. You will only be charged for what you spend. You’ll be emailed your receipt or we can print one for you that night. You can also bring a check or cash to pay for purchases at check-out.

How do virtual attendees make a donation?
To make a donation before or during the livestream event, click here or text BRIDGESMS to 44-321.

What should I wear to the Bridges Gala?
Cocktail attire

How do I get to the venue?

Where can I park?
Parking is included in the price of each ticket and is available at Lot #337, located at 1631 NW Thurman St. There is also plenty of street parking near the venue. Please observe posted time limits.

Can I bring children?
This event is intended for adults to enjoy a child-free evening.

How long will the cocktail hour be and when is dinner?
Cocktail hour and dinner stations will be available starting at 6:00PM (PT). After our program, we’ll enjoy more food and drinks.

What kind of drinks will be available, and will they be complimentary?
Beer, wine, sodas, water, coffee, tea and a signature cocktail will be complimentary, or you can purchase other cocktails at the cash bar.

How can I purchase an online auction item?
The online auction will open for bidding on Thursday, April 13 at 12:00PM (PT). To participate in the online auction, you’ll first need to register as a bidder.

Here are the steps to get registered to bid:
1) Go to bridges23.ggo.bid to the create account page on ggo.bid.
2) Click the green “Create Account” button (or login if you have used this platform before and skip to step 6).
3) Enter your email address.
4) Wait for verification email (check your junk folder if you don’t receive it).
5) Follow verification link and complete form. You will be required to provide your mobile number.
6) Verify payment method, billing address, email and mobile number are correct. Click on grey boxes to update information.
7) Click on the “Start Bidding!” link to enter the auction.
