Building Bridges for Those Who Struggle to Jump, to Learn , to Thrive.
At Bridges Middle School, 5th – 8th grade students experience personal growth and academic success, some for the first time in their young lives. Our students struggle with multiple learning differences that hamper their ability to thrive in more traditional educational settings. Too often they have been the victims of bullying and misunderstood, losing confidence and motivation. In small classes with individualized instruction, Bridges’ students gain the academic foundation and self-advocacy skills necessary to navigate school — and life — with confidence and competence.
An independent nonprofit school, Bridges receives no tax, government or church/temple funding. Annual tuition supports only 65-70 percent of our operating expenses. The remaining gap between what is paid in tuition and what it costs to educate our students is funded through donations raised by our annual fundraising. Families that cannot afford to pay the full tuition to have a student attend Bridges are eligible for needs-based financial aid funds raised at our annual auction. This is the major fundraising event of the year for Bridges Middle School – our students rely on the generosity of friends like you to help us build a bright future for our students.
